So, I'm a little over 4 weeks and so far the morning sickness thing hasn't hit me too much. I get dizzy and nauseous in the car, but that happened before I even did the pee test to confirm it. I've started carrying a plastic bag with me everywhere just in case, lol.
I have yet to really throw up and get sick that way, but I do have moments where I just feel so sick to my stomach and ill. Normally this is when I remove my sea bands though. They are amazingly helpful at making me feel better. Some people claim it's a placebo, but even if that's true whatever works, right? I just know that it seems like more than that, like it truly is effective.
I've also found rice crackers, candied ginger, and believe it or not carrots have been helpful at settling things. I hadn't read up on carrots (I plan to do that later) I just figured something crunchy and "light" in flavor (Don't know if anyone but me considers them a light veggie, lol) might help so I just grabbed one without putting much thought into it. If we had celery I might have grabbed some of that too, but all we had was the carrots.
So far these things are helping and I hope it stays that way. If not, oh well at least vomit is a sign of a healthy baby and I should be grateful, right? I'm glad so far that I haven't had issues with prenatals. They aren't pleasant to have to swallow but they don't make me sick. Even if they do eventually though, I won't to be one of those women who give up and take something of lesser quality (I'll rant about that topic another time).
It's Christmas day today by the way. We're going to my SIL's house for dinner tonight. It should be a good time. :)
Anyway, that's about it for this entry. ♥
